Hello stampers and happy Wednesday where it is my turn to show you a beautiful, juicy and ripe stamp from I Brake For Stamps. Do you like peaches? I LOVE them and IBFS has them!! Here is my piece:
It showcases the beautifully drawn stamp called Peaches, available here, which is also available as part of a larger set called MS58 Full Sheet which includes not just the peach image but pears, melons and grapes as well. That large set can be found here.
This stamp works well for a card front but I ended up making a framed piece for my craft room. I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with copics. Love how it turned out and I think I can use this image to practice my copic coloring. I can see coloring this in various shades of red, pink, yellow and orange. making the fruit lighter or darker in color.
Now, I have a freebie for you! The text that you see around the frame was created by me using a bunch of different fonts. I printed it out on kraft cardstock and changed the transparency down to about 60% so that it would not overwhelm the main image. If you want the background here it is:
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you pop on over to the IBFS store and take a look at this stamp and the larger set – they are all lovely images. And you can get 10% off your order when you use the code SAVE10NANCY.
Hello stampers! Welcome to another Wednesday showcasing the lovely stamps from I Brake For Stamps. Here is my spring card…
The image is called Large Flower Background and measures 3 1/8 x 4.5. It can be found at the IBFS store here. Now, I had another completely different card in mind for this stamp…until I stamped it. I saw how pretty the design was and thought it would make a wonderful focal point for a card. I did not want to cover this pretty background with another image!!
I stamped it with Peeled Paint distress ink and colored the leaves and flowers with copics. It really took no time at all to do this. I paired the image with some digi papers – yellow in the background and striped paper in blue, green and yellow. The sentiment is computer generated and cut out with a stitched circle die. Just a little blue ribbon was added for an accent.

Hello my crafty friends! I hope all is going well with you. Are you ready for spring? it is right around the corner and I can’t wait to see the pops of color as the flowers start to bloom. We planted our annuals in the front last week and it was so nice to see something other than brown in the flower beds.
I have a wonderful spring like card to show you today. A burst of color in some flowering blackberry /raspberry stems all delightfully placed in a Kerr mason jar:
The image is call Kerr Jar and can be found here in the IBFS store.
It’s a wonderful image to color. I used a mix of copics and prisma pencils for the coloring, sticking with purples and pinks. The blackberries have a touch of green on them to show they are not quite ripe yet. I used a pierced oval die for the main image and an EK Success punch for the scallop portion on the bottom. The paper is from Basic Grey and I had to add a little bling with green rhinestones.
Please be sure to stop by the IBFS store for more wonderfully detailed stamps! Remember to use code SAVE10NANCY for 10% off your order.
Hello stamping friends! Just popping in here to show a quick, clean and simple card I made today.
This came together so quickly – it actually took me longer to find the stamps than to make the card! The stamps are mostly from Papertrey with one image from Starving Artistamps. They were stamped with memento inks on watercolor paper. I went back and forth trying to decide whether or not to add bling, more color, ribbon, etc. In the end I just wanted something clean and simple. This card design can be replicated easily and used for a variety of occasions by just changing the sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will check back here on Wednesday – I have a pretty spring card to show!
