clean and simple

Hello friends….

I really like clean and simple cards, but sometimes find they take just as long as those with lots of embellishments – do you find this as well?

I started with the butterfly image – which is a free digi stamp but I can’t recall which site I downloaded it from.  I’ll have to do better about organizing my downloads to that I can provide proper credit.

The butterfly was colored with copics – G0000, G21, BG0000, BG10, E31, E29, cut out and popped up on the panel.

The panel was created using the new Memory Box paper – Gossamer – and if you have not seen it yet you will be delighted!  Like many MB papers it is soft and pretty with pinks, greens and cremes and perfect for spring.

This particular sheet has the script but I added the branch, stamped in Palette Burnt Umber,  from Stampscapes.  The edges were sponged with Burnt Umber as well then mounted on chocolate with a sheer ribbon wrapped around the side.

A few piercings at the top and bottom were added for interest.  The base card is Bazzill cardstock and I love the texture.  I left a sentiment off for now and will add one later one I decide how to use the card.

Thank you so much for visiting me today!
