Boxwood Wreath

This clean and simple card was created for today’s inspiration challenge at SCS and the Moxie Fab Holiday Cards challenge.  The  boxwood wreath is both simple and elegant and you really don’t need to do much more to it.

I started with a top fold card of shimmery white cardstock – its from CutCardstock and they call it Cryogen White.  It has the most subtle shimmer to it.  The paper is not a pure white, but more of a off white, but not quite cream.  The shimmer makes it perfect for holiday cards.

I cut and embossed a square using nestabilities dies, stamped the wreath using Palette Landscape ink and added a simple gold cord bow.  I mounted it onto green (I think the green is from SU – it was a scrap in my “green” pile  and was the best match for the ink.  Both the wreath and sentiment are from Flourishes.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
