Sisterhood of Crafters

Hello friends – it’s time for another new challenge at the  Sisterhood Of Crafters Blog!    Today’s challenge is PINK!   Anything goes as long as it has some pink.  You can find all the details HERE.

First, let me apologize for he photo.  I just could not get a good picture of this card – it is really pretty IRL!

I decided to go with a clean and simple card,  with soft subtle colors (which I am now finding are very hard to capture in a photo in my craft room)..  My inspiration for the colors was a sweater a friend of mine has – a very pretty soft grey with some pink and white stripes at the bottom.  It’s hard to explain, but it is a very pretty sweater.

So I started with a very light grey paper and combined it with light pink paper.  Just a few tiny stamps for the center  (from Papertrey) – and a simple thank you card is created.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you visit the Sisterhood blog and take part in the challenge.

Beautiful, soft and pretty and I love the combo of the pink and grey (I too had a sweater very similar).

  2. So pretty Nancy with your choice of soft colors! I love your overall design … you’ve inspired me to try a similar design for a birthday card I’m in need of. Thanks

  3. Isn’t it interesting where and how we find inspiration for our cards and projects?? Yours definitely helped inspire this very pretty card! Great card

Your card is GORGEOUS! I love the simplicity of those beautiful flowers, but the stitching and embossed background gives your card just the perfect touch to make it amazing! Hugs Gwendolyn
