I Brake For….Monster Mash!!

Hello again my fellow stampers and welcome to Wednesday with I Brake For Stamps!  Here is a super cute card for today!

This adorable image and sentiment is called Monster Mash set and can be found here by itself or part of the Curiosities Set #1 here.

I love the smile of pure joy on this monster and feel that we all should dance like no one is watching!!!

I colored the image with copics and used a curved border die on the side to mimic the curves of the tutu.  Small flower dies and a swiss dot embossing folder finishes everything off.  I used bright colors of yellow, orange and pink – this is one of those images where you can go bright and bold with color.

I Brake For…Loves Me!

Hello friends and welcome to Wednesday and I Brake For Stamps!  Take a look at this little guy and tell me it’s not love at first sight!!

Is that not the cutest face!  The stamp and sentiment are from the adorable Carmen Medlin Curiosities line.  This one is called Loves Me and can be found here.  It is also part of a larger set called Curiosities Set 3 found here.

I colored him with mostly red copics.   I used a rounded stitched rectangle die for  the front panel, an EK success punch for the mat and a cute heart embossing folder for the background.  I thought the heart embossing folder was perfect for this set – I’ve had it in my stash for awhile and never used it.   And take a look at that little bow – it’s a two part die that  was a bit difficult working with those little pieces to put it together!

I hope you hop on over to the IBFS store – take a look at the entire Carmen Medlin line for some great stamps.  Use code SAVE10NANCY for 10% off your order.

I Brake For…..Monster Bash!!

Hello stampers and welcome to Wednesday stamping with I Brake For Stamps!  I have a super cute monster stamp to show you – I love this little guy!!

The image and sentiment is called Monster Bash set and can be found here.  It is part of the Carmen Medlin line and is also included in the Curiosities Set #1 shown here.

I colored him bright green with pink hair and doesn’t he look cute holding a plate with a pink and orange cake?? You can’t tell from the photo but I added a little sparkle to the cake with a stardust gel pen.  The balloons and stitched curved rectangle are die cuts.

I’m falling in love with these cute monster stamps – they’re so much fun to color.  I hope you will take a look at the entire Curiosities line.

it’s one of those days…….

Ever have one of those days where nothing seems to go right?  Hopefully it does not happen often but there are times when it’s just not your day.  And this stamp and sentiment from I Brake For Stamps says it all..

The stamps are from the Carmen Medlin Curiosities line at IBFS.  This set of the monster and the sentiment is called Some Days Set and can be found here.  It is also available in the Curiosities Set 2 which includes 5 other cute monsters and sentiments.  That set can be found here.

I stamped the image with memento tuxedo black ink and colored it with copics.  The grass is an EK Success punch.  The polaroid frame is a silhouette file.

The patterned paper has stitch lines in the design and I wanted to carry that onto the card so I cut the paper and some white cardstock with a curved lines stitch die – here is a close up.

I have to say that I just love these little monster stamps and especially like that they are paired with funny sentiments.  Be sure to stop by the IBFS store to check them out.  You can get 10% off your order with the code SAVE10NANCY.

I Brake For….Curiosities!

Hello friends!  I have something a little outside my comfort zone today.  In going through my inventory of stamps I’ve found that I don’t really have any “cute” or “funny” stamps.  Until today, that is!  Just look at the cute face on the monster stamp used on this card.

The stamp and sentiment are part of the Carmen Medlin line at I Brake For Stamps and I have to tell you when I first saw them I thought they were just so cute.  This particular stamp and sentiment combination can be found here called Monster Chill Set,  but it is also available as a set with four other cute monsters and sentiments found here, called Curiosities Set 1.

As soon as I saw this little guy I knew he should be purple.  Don’t know why, it just seemed like it fit.  But I wanted him to be a bit more colorful so I added orange to his palette.  I used the following copic markers:  V01, V12, V15, V17, YR01, YR14 and YR15.  I have him sitting in a field of grass contemplating deep subjects.  The grass was created using an EK punch and some patterned paper. Green and purple cardstock and purple grosgrain ribbon finish it off.

I hope you will check out the Curiosities line and all the other stamps at IBFS.  Remember – you can save 10% on your order when you use code SAVE10NANCY.  Thanks so much for stopping by today!
